Nikon D700 & D3/D3s/D3x Camera Training Workshop
Nikonians attending this workshop will be looking to come to terms as rapidly as possible with all of the numerous settings and options in order to more fully exploit the outstanding photographic capabilities of these top of the range cameras.
Our “In Depth” workshop strips back the many layers of camera set-up and controls in order to better acquaint you with how they work, what they are designed to achieve and how best to use them. Starting with a “Best Practice” approach to everyday issues such as battery management, sensor cleaning and working with memory cards, we quickly move on to understanding the factory default settings and use these pre-defined choices as a platform to explore issues of image quality, white balance and ISO choice.
You will learn how the Metering Sensor works and how it helps the camera’s other functions such as AF and Speedlight control. Through short practical exercises, you will be taken through camera configuration options which include control of focus, use of appropriate metering for different lighting scenarios and the various Picture Control choices. Be prepared for a very full day, packed full of incite about these technological wonders!
Although the D700 and D3 series cameras are professional models, you do not have to be a professional photographer to attend this workshop. We do, however, expect you to have a good knowledge of basic photographic practices and a reasonable understanding of digital principles.
This is a full day workshop, we start promptly at 09:00 and finish around 18:00.
