Discuss this workshop
Cataloguing, organising and managing your precious pictures effectively are some of the most neglected parts of the whole imaging workflow process. Most people who own a digital camera for any length of time will amass many hundreds if not thousands of images and some may randomly and often inconsistently save them “somewhere on a hard drive.” As PCs are updated and upgraded, these images become even more dispersed and segregated, making it even harder to find your best shots. Few of us will have spent anything like enough time and effort to make sure that work can be easily identified, retrieved and appreciated in a meaningful and orderly way. But do not despair, we have come up with an ideal solution!
Nikonians Academy Europe in conjunction with Phase One have put together a training seminar that will help solve your asset management problems. Not only will you learn how to deal effectively with your image archive, but you will also get an exclusive license key to use Media Pro 1 completely free of charge! This comprehensive presentation will show you how to get the most from this highly capable software package, starting by looking at the workflow process in overview from camera set-up through to copying and storing images on your computer. It will look at options for naming your files and adding additional caption info that will help you retrieve them later. You will be guided through the initial stages of importing your files into Media Pro and then explain how to leverage it’s powerful batch-processing functions to add IPTC captions, grading and ranking as you go while establishing a logical order to your image archive.
This is an unmissable opportunity to create an orderly body of work that you can be proud of. With your FREE version of Media Pro 1 (worth over €139) you will be able to manage your current and future image files in a much more efficient way and you will have gained a better understanding of the whole workflow process.
The three hour seminar can be booked as either a morning or an afternoon session:Morning session: 10:00 – 13:00Afternoon session: 14:00 – 17:00
